I've decided to give this a try. I am a mother of 3 year old twins. We recently moved to Conyers to be closer to my mother. I was thinking I needed that type of support, being a single parent and all. Ever since I got here, things have been going down hill and I am in need of financial assistance. Rockdale Relief won't help because I haven't lived here long enough. I've put in applications at retail stores that are within walking distance since I no longer have a car but no one wants to hire me. I hope the fact that I was a legal secretary back in Virginia isn't hindering me from getting a retail position. I really need to work!! If there are any generous people out there, please help us! Georgia is a state that protects the owners more so than renters and the eviction process is only 2 weeks. I am so afraid of getting evicted because we'll have no place to go!
